The Coffee Urn has added a breakfast and
lunch menu over the years to include light
choices such as bagels and muffins for
breakfast as well as cooked to order eggs
and omelets. Our lunches include "worth
the drive" chicken salad which we have been
told is the best in town by many of our
customers and "better than _____________"
(we won't say who) BLT's. The menu also
includes soup and salads, dessert and a
variety of delicious beverages; lattes,
herbal teas and real fruit smoothies to
name a few. We are in the process of
adding a dinner menu to our lineup which
has gotten its start on Friday nights.
Friday nights also host a variety of live
musicians from the metroplex. One is
currently listed on your site - Laura
Cummings - and is how I found about you.
In addition to featuring musicians, artists
also have a place to show their talents.
The Coffee Urn hangs pieces from the
Eastside Creative Arts Club and other
artists/photographers. We hope to start
a book club soon and offer a book shelf
for people to grab or leave a book at will.
The bulletin board posts many community events
and highlights the ones our customers are
directly involved in such as the FWSO or a
play at TCU
