Volunteers Sought For Patrols, Emergency Response Teams
Residents interested in the Citizen’s on Patrol (COP)

The COP program involves 8 hours of classroom instruction
(sometimes broken into 3-hour segments over 2 nights),
8 hours of patrol with a city police officer and 2
hours instruction with a COP member. The COP program has instituted a free open garage door
notification program that will notify residents if their
garage door has been left open during dusk or nighttime hours. See also: Citizens On Patrol The city of Fort Worth is seeking volunteers for its Emergency
