Announcing the 7th Annual Pottery in the Park Festival October 11th & 12th

Tableware, vases, and artistic pieces are among the various types of pottery that will be on display and available for purchase at the Seventh Annual Pottery in the Park Festival, sponsored by The Potters’ Studio of Lockheed Martin Recreation Association (LMRA).

The Pottery in the Park Festival will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 11th and Sunday, October 12th. Admission and parking are free.

Lockheed Martin Recreation Association is located at 3400 Bryant-Irvin Rd. Fort Worth, TX 76109, just one mile north of I-20. The festival will be held on the LMRA grounds next to the Trinity River. After entering the LMRA grounds drive straight ahead, pass the second guard shack, the festival will be held in the picnic area.

Don Hudnell, a local potter will be giving hands-on Raku firing demonstrations. There will also be a refreshment booth and rides for the children.
